Cathodic protection solutions

Cathode protection systems with controlled oxidation of steel structures significantly increase the life of such expensive equipment as underground pipelines and tanks. Cason‘s systems using DIWICON technology, provide reliable, cost-effective, continuous remote monitoring for operators of cathodic protection systems. Systems include hardware and software elements including SCADA application and can be used as a periodic charge service.

DW 631 K – Intelligent field cathodic station control unit

Ahe combined unit provides remote monitoring of the cathode protection of the pipelines and the monitoring of the effectiveness of the protection. One device per station requires high-resolution I / O channels to provide all the measurement and control tasks that can be encountered, alerting the events set.

The DW 631 K consists of the following elements:

  • DW 297 K Field Communication Unit
    Intelligent industrial field communication unit designed specifically for the surveillance of cathodic protection stations. The device provides GPS-based time synchronization and two-way communication with the control panel and serves as a communication module for the DW 631 k cathode protection station control unit.
  • DW 821 K
    Station Control Module – specially designed for monitoring cathodic protection stations, with built-in I / O devices and local connection for additional modules. Ideal choice for many supervised stations. Thanks to the modular design, an optimized sizing system can be assembled.
  • DW 128 DI – Digital input module
    (The DW 124 AO, DW 128 AI, DW 128 DO analogue and digital I / O expansion modules are also available in case the field system requires multiple connection points.
DW 5844 K Minimum line communication unit

The autonomous device measures the minimum cathode potential. Four channels of data can be collected from four measurement points at a time. The measurement results are sent to the control panel via GPRS-based cyclic communication. The device is designed for ground-based use for property protection and under frequency operation, and its high performance telescopes allow up to five years of unattended operation.
